Daily Prompt: Abide

via Daily Prompt: Abide

What happens when you obey?
Is it possible to endure?
Can you tolerate it?
What you have observed?
Do you follow when you wish to lead?
Do you uphold the standards *they* want you to heed?
Can you accept it?
Acknowledge it?
Respect it?
Is it more than you can bear, so you wish to reject it?
How long can this continue?
Will you survive what remains?
Does it last all day long?
Can persisting equal pain?
If you dwell where you live, is staying insane?
If you abide by your heart, only you can complain.
